Zachary Senesac - RMHCI

Choosing to seek help can be very difficult, so congratulations on taking your first step towards wellness! My name is Zachary, and I am a registered mental health counselor intern with the state of Florida. I am a Jacksonville native and have been part of this community all my life. As a therapist, I believe I have a chance to help others in the city that I grew up in.

I received my bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of North Florida and my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Jacksonville University. My previous experience was with a non-profit with a focus on counseling children from elementary through high school.

I use an integrative approach with a primary focus on person centered, cognitive behavioral and solution focused therapy. I believe in finding what works best for you as an individual, and I believe the client/counselor relationship to be among the most important aspects in seeing improvements in one’s mental health.
