Kimberly Gydish-Theobald - MED, LMHC

Introduction

Kimberly Gydish-Theobald has been in practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2003. She graduated with a master’s in education in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida in 2001. Mrs. Gydish-Theobald sees ages five and up, as well as adolescents and adults. She has spent much of the last fifteen years treating primarily adolescents.

Mrs. Gydish-Theobald is an eclectic therapist which means she personalizes the therapy experience to best match where the client is in their emotional journey. She primarily uses Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused, and Humanistic modalities. Mrs. Gydish-Theobald treats a variety of diagnoses which include, but are not limited to depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, eating disorders, and Bipolar Disorder.

Mrs. Gydish-Theobald makes it her goal to create a relaxed and non-judgmental environment to help the client feel safe on their journey of self-discovery. She believes one of her greatest assets is the building of a strong therapeutic rapport which is the foundation of successful therapy.
