Stephanee Rose - LMHC

Introduction

Stephanee Rose has a Master’s degree from the University of North Florida in Guidance and Counseling.  She was employed by Child Guidance Center for 26 years as a therapist and has been licensed since 1997.  In this position she provided individual and family therapy, and also led multiple groups including parent education classes.

 

In addition to her regular duties, she has taught First Aid/CPR and sign language classes; as a trilingual clinician, she provides services to Deaf and Hispanic clients and their families.   She was a volunteer instructor for the American Red Cross, for over 20 years. In her spare time, she is a part time therapist for River Point Behavioral Hospital (previously known as Ten Broeck Hospital) and Wekiva Springs Hospital.

 

Stephanee has taught classes on Positive Discipline for the Jacksonville Children’s Commission and has been a guest speaker and instructor for several local agencies on a variety of mental health topics.  She was an active member of the Hispanic Association of Professionals in the Social Services Fields for its duration, and helped plan each of the Symposiums that helped educate people in multiple statewide agencies which provide services to Hispanics.

 

Lastly, Stephanee has been certified as an expert witness by several Duval County judges and has testified on behalf of Jacksonville children since 1992.
