Introduction

Sometimes life just doesn’t go the way you thought it would.  Or destructive cycles and unhealthy patterns learned in childhood bleed into your current relationships and approach to life.  And that ever elusive happiness you seek always seem just out of reach.  If this is true for you, I can provide a safe, nurturing, non-judgmental space for you to begin your journey of self discovery and exploration of  issues that are bothering you.  Our work together will help you gain new insight and learn effective skills that will enable you to experience the world in a whole new way.  Working from a strengths-based approach, I can help you recognize your own personal value and empower you by using the gifts and strengths you already have to help you overcome challenges and find personal growth through them.

While I utilize techniques and approaches from a variety of  counseling theories, I tend to gravitate towards cognitive-behavioral therapy the most because the understanding that changing behavior can change the way one feels empowers an individual to have some control over the outcome.

I am passionate about strengthening homes and families and helping individuals recognize their own intrinsic worth,  assisting them to overcome challenges and improve relationships and overall life satisfaction.  I would love the opportunity to work with you and help you unlock the door to living a more fulfilling, joyful life.
